HERE WE GO AGAIN

I don’t know if you have a similar problem with your kids, but my 8 year old daughter has hit that age where she just “has to have” the latest thingy because what’s her name has one!
Every month there seems to be another MUST HAVE item that she claims every child in the world has except her.
We’ve been through Sylvanian Families (have you seen the price of those flippin’ things?!), Littlest Pet Shops, Bratz Dolls, some rescue animal things I don’t even know the name of…etc.
Unfortunately for her, she has a Daddy who is so tight with money he could be declared an honorary Yorkshireman or Scot.  I’ve even found myself going down the age old “doesn’t grow on trees” route.  To be totally honest, most of the kids’ toys come from the charity shop.  Aren’t I cruel?!

However, I just thought I’d give you a heads up as to what the next “thing” is, as your kids will no doubt be asking you for them because that other kid has them and so does that other one.  Unless of course your child is already the one that has them, and is causing all the other children to go home to their parents begging.

They are called Bumpeez.  They are colourful little bouncy discs with interchangeable characters on them that you throw against stuff and bounce.
I tried explaining to my daughter that she already has a bouncy ball.  In fact, she has loads of the stupid things as the January 2009 MUST HAVE was bouncy balls!
“But they don’t have faces on them you can trade” was her response.

On the plus side…a promise of Bumpeez has certainly lead to quite a few chores being done! Lol

So, prepare yourself, because very soon your child will be after these as “everyone” has them.  And of course, they have to collect them all!
