Jonny Kelly Appeal
Jonny is just 8 years old & last May he was diagnosed with a Tectal Plate Glioma (Brain Tumour).
Due to the position of the tumour being deep in the Mid-Brain there is no operation available to remove it. The tumour is the size of a £2 coin and has already shown signs of growth. Jonny is now in stage 3 of Chemotherapy which will last 18 months. He was also selected to be part of a clinical trial which means Jonny's treatment was more intense during his first 3 months. In addition he's already undergone surgery to treat Hydrocephalus to relieve the fluid pressure on his brain.
Jonny's family, Mum Emma and Dad Wayne, have already raised £3,490 towards their targeted £20,000, which would pay for the treatment Jonny needs. Forty of Wayne's friends from the King's Arms in Billingham have completed a sponsored cycle, another friend is planning a Skydive this April (details will follow) and a close family friend is climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, also this April.
TFM Radio's Cash for Kids Charity are also glad to help the family reach their £20,000 to Jonny to Germany for the treatment he desperately needs.

MOUNT KILIMANJARO
William Gough, a close family friend, is hiking up Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest freestanding mountain in the world, in order to rasie funds for Jonny.
"This planned hike up Kilimanjaro will take me approximately 8 days starting on the 9 August 2012, with an average walking day of six hours. The last day of walking is up to 14 hours, reaching a total height of 5,895 meters which is the highest point in Africa and the highest freestanding mountain in the world", says William.
"The above is self funded and no monies raised will be used towards expenses in any shape or form.
What you give is what Jonny gets!"
