What a week it has been! Frankie Cocozza had to leave the X Factor for breaking one of it’s golden rules whatever they are? I thought his voice was that bad it would break glasses. Also this week the legend and gentleman Sir Jimmy Saville has been laid to rest wearing his signature gold chains and rings , imagine in a few thousand years time when the cemetery land has been flattened, built on and flattened again and some person is walking around with a metal detector, that find would take some explaining.

Ant & Dec are getting ready to go into the jungle with a bunch of people that we most probably will wonder who the hell they? The so called celebs will be eating the usual eyeballs while Ant n Dec will be living a life of luxury in a swanky hotel celebrating the new multi-million pound two year they have just signed with ITV.

As for me I have been meeting lots of Yummy Mummy’s and Dishy Daddies and entertaining their children at Mr Twister’s in Hartlepool followed by dealing with hundreds of requests to meet One Direction!

My six year old Joshua was at his school disco and the DJ played One Directed (three times may I add in two hours) not that the girls cared, every time it went on the girls screamed. My boy is already at that age where he secretly likes to impress them, noticing the excitement One Direction caused he told the girls that his Dad was a DJ on the radio and can arrange for them all to meet the band.

My son has no idea that Daddy cannot arrange the meeting but how would he know that especially when he heard me interviewing the band on TFM Radio. Such a revelation caused an almighty stir at school and I have been left explaining to each parent that One Direction are not my best friends.

Imagine what he will say next when my boy hear’s Daddy interviewing one of the biggest boy bands around on my breakfast show tomorrow “JLS”? Don’t worry I have explained that his friends cannot meet them and they will not come round for tea or attend his birthday party but you can hear them on my show Wake Up With Wayne at 7.30am.
